Although the app works well with no bugs, be aware of how the app is going to be used and how often as cost may become an issue.

We learned last week from Shelly that October is National Sensory Awareness Month. Since it's also Halloween, I found a few great articles about tips for tackling Halloween with kids who have sensory sensitivities. I know even for my three children without major sensory challenges, Halloween was sometimes difficult, with the various textures, noises, sights and smells that take over a normal routine. For kids with sensitivities, it can be overwhelming.

TinyTap, Moments Into Games is so difficult to sum up in a paragraph. It's an incredibly powerful but really really easy (and fun) to use educational game maker.
There's so much potential here - the sheer scope of what this app could be used for is daunting. Parents can use it to create personalised and fun games from everyday photos and family events. Educators can use it to create lesson plans and interactive work books. Kids can use it to make their own iBooks.
Some teachers in the TinyTap community have used it in teaching English as a second language. Others have been using it for kids with Autism or even as a general speech therapy tool.
It sounds daunting but it's really super duper simple and fun to use - it takes only minutes to create a game. It's always free, and there's a community store where you can download pre-made games (some are free and some are paid).
