Build with Grandpa is the newest adventure from Fairlady Media. Your child will get to have fun playing on a job site with Grandpa doing everything from demolition to painting houses. And don't forget cleaning up (seriously, I wish they made a bulldozer small enough to clean out my daughter's room like that!)

This newest adventure takes us to the a work site where we will get to play educational games, solve puzzles, and even decorate a house. Your child will get to do things like:

Demolish an old building with a wrecking ball.
Clear a lot with a bulldozer.
Design blueprints.
Pick out equipment.
Work a dump truck.
Run a cement mixer.
Play a word puzzle.
Park equipment in outbuildings.
Paint and finish house.

As always, there are some fun interactive activities sprinkled throughout. Grandpa always has a hearty lunch, of course. Kids will get to watch several educational videos that teaching about the building process. Users can keep a collection of pictures from their finished projects!

What I liked:

This app is the same excellent quality we have come to expect from Fairlady Media. You can always count on their apps to have pretty flawless execution.
My kids found the videos particularly interesting this time around. Perhaps they are budding architects, who knows.

What I might change:

If I were to make any suggestions (and this really applies to my other favorite Grandma/Grandpa apps, too), it would be to be able to choose which activities you want to do rather than always having to go through them all to get to the one you want. My daughter enjoyed painting and finishing the house, but didn't always want to go through all of the other activities to get to it.

Overall, I think this app is a great addition to the Fairlady Media collection. It easily joins the Smart Apps for Kids family of Top Picks! 5 Stars!
