One of the more frustrating things that I can remember about my son’s earlier elementary education was how discouraged he would get while we were working on his times tables. No matter what we tried, it seemed that there were always certain numbers that he struggled to learn. How I wish that we had had TimesX Multiplication Tester!

TimesX Multiplication Tester gives kids a fun and challenging way to practice their multiplication skills. It has adaptive technology that tracks which questions that a child has difficulty with and enables you to test specifically on those questions. Or you can create random tests concentrating on specific tables to help prepare for upcoming tests!
TimesX Multiplication Tester is a labor of love that the developer created to help his son master his multiplication skills. You can use it as an engaging tool to help your child with their own multiplication tables. I’ve got a daughter that will be starting them soon; I think we’ll keep this app in our arsenal.

Description
The BEST and FASTEST way to IMPROVE your child's multiplication test scores! After your child gets the same question wrong on 2 or more tests, the app will list them in the Error Counts screen. Once there are 10 or more error counts, your child can test specifically on those difficult questions. Regular testing can be customized for specific times tables, as children in grades 2 and 3 typically practice one or a few tables at a time. This also lets you make tests harder or easier based on their results.
Features:
- Tests are saved on your device with all the results and details for you to review them
- With more use, 'Error Counts' shows you where your child needs help
- An 'Error Counts' test lets your child test on their most challenging questions
- Random Tests can be customized by times tables you choose, from 1 to 12
- Optional Live timer for speed testing
- Optional Sound feedback
This project was a personal endeavor to boost my son's multiplication skills in grades 2 and 3. Every feature was built with his learning in mind. From doing homework with him, I designed this app with these goals:
1) give him lots of practice
2) keep all his tests and grades from testing
3) identify the questions he gets wrong the most often and focus on them
4) customize testing for strengths and weaknesses
