Bottom Line: A superhero dinosaur and a good witch work together to defeat the bad guys by exploring shapes, numbers and colors with a big side of fun gameplay that will also hone fine motor skills.

The app opens with a quick introduction to Dino Tim who has to become a superhero with the help of a good witch. Their job is turn all of the bad witches into animals by collecting shapes and numbers through gameplay. The app opens to the homescreen where users can get straight to playing or click to see what other apps are offered by the developer (Antonio Munoz German), change settings or language. There are 14 languages to choose from including english, spanish, french and italian. The settings section only has one setting and that is to turn sound off or on. Also located in settings are a list of credits and another link to iTunes.
When playing, kids have a choice of three of the witches' houses or the magic door. These can all be accessed in any order and difficulty changes in each area. Gameplay goes forward in each area the same. Dino Tim reports to the good witch, who shows him a picture of a shape or number that he needs to collect for her witch brew. Children then solve a wood shape matching puzzle and are sent to fly through the air collecting the appropriate shape which can be a square, heart, rectangle and others. During the flying game, kids can fly over boosts to make Dino Tim larger or make him attract the shape needed. After each collection process, children change a part of the witch into a silly animal. Once she has been transformed completely, a bonus game appears and users have earned a new character they can use.
The game is cute and fun for little kids to get their gaming on while learning. The characters are colorful and whimsical looking. The app design is also easy to navigate. The layout of the witches' houses and the magic door break gives an illusion of depth and travel in a game that could feel monotonous in other presentations. While playing, I found no bugs or technical issues. I would like to see the external links parent-protected in future updates, but overall I think they have a good recipe for success with this app.
