Paperama is Origami for the digital age.
I could never fold paper into little animals or stars or hearts. I really couldn't even make a decent paper airplane. But Paperama has me folding virtual paper with the skill of an artist. Its an app that challenges your precision hand-eye coordination and problem solving skills.
Paperama is FREE. It does have in-app purchases to open up addtional levels, but the amount of free content is definitely worth a look.

Paperama is an engrossing app for adults, it's true. The strategizing that goes into folding your paper into certain shapes in a limited number of folds really gives your brain a little workout. But I was surprised to find that my eight-year-old son has taken a shine to this game. I'm not gonna say that he's finished more levels than me... well, I'm not gonna say it outloud.
He folds up a mean airplane, too.
