Math is one of those skills where kids seem to either get it or struggle with it. Division for Kids by Internet Design Zone allows children, both math enthusiasts and those having a hard time, to practice and become comfortable with the process of long division. The practice section of the app breaks down simple and long division equations into smaller parts while reinforcing terminology such as quotient, remainder, and divisor. During the quizzes, children will enjoy the entertaining, dancing animations which celebrate correct answers.

Many children, and, let's face it, many adults, can become overwhelmed with long division. Seeing two big numbers sitting on the page can have a child shut down before even attempting to find the solution. Division for Kids shows how to break down complicated equations helping to remove that overwhelming factor.
The practice section of Division for Kids helps a child break up the equation into easy to manage steps. It's fantastic that the part of the equation the child needs to focus on at that point is highlighted. The narration, both audio and text on the screen, asks the child to solve a specific piece of the equation. This benefits both auditory and visual learners. The child will soon gain confidence on how to break down the equation themselves.
Once a child is comfortable with a practice level, a quiz section is available. The quiz is a straightforward 10 questions with multiple choices. Both the quiz and practice sections contain new sets of problems each time. No matter how many times a child uses the app, the questions will be fresh.
Division for Kids is a great way for anyone from 7 years old up into adulthood to learn and reinforce division skills. For more information, you can read over Jill's full review of Division for Kids. *** App Store User review: Before, my math grades were horrible. I used tons and tons of apps. I still use tons of apps. However, this is the only one I use for division. I am back on track now from using my apps, and this is the best one yet.***
