MobileIgromatic have just released a new app called Playroom - Lessons with Max 1.0 for iOS. Their new educational app is aimed at preschoolers and the app offers an innovative solution for parents wanting to protect their young children from online access while using apps. Playroom - Lessons with Max stars an adorable kitty named Max in five games for toddlers and preschoolers to strengthen early-learning skills in a simple but challenging environment.
“Parents don’t need another password to remember. They need a simple solution,” said Svetlana Korneliuk, CEO of MobileIgromatic. “We offer a math problem that would be difficult for a preschooler to solve, but simple enough for an adult. Children’s privacy online has been monitored closely by the Federal Trade Commission, which recently issued a statement that only 20 percent of educational app developers disclose a privacy policy. Small children should not be able to access social media, websites or the iTunes store while playing educational game apps,” Korneliuk said. “We believe strongly in protecting children’s privacy.”
Playroom: Lessons with Max stars a very cute little named Max in five games for toddlers and preschoolers to strengthen early-learning skills in a simple but challenging environment. The games are bright, engaging educational and include lots of positive reinforcement from Max. His affirmative mewing is adorable! There's also a helpful little mouse who pops up throughout the games to help Max.
The five games included are;
Peekaboo - Users are challenged to find toys hidden in the playroom, with Max’s help. Visual prompts are provided after 15 seconds of inactivity or several incorrect attempts.
Colors & Numbers - Children are presented with 14 toys of assorted colors and asked to choose a specific color that matches the wagon. Each toy correctly chosen is counted with text and narration.
Puzzles - Playroom toys become simple puzzles for a child to put back together.
Memory - Make a match by remembering how the cards are placed.
Match -This challenging game encourages children to put the toys back on the shelf in the correct order after the purple mouse knocks them down! Visual prompts appear after no activity or several incorrect choices.
Within the settings is a custom voiceover option where the parent can record their own voice saying some positive phrases and hints. The Tot loved hearing my voice saying 'Nice work' or 'Search and find the toys'. You can also choose to have the voice on or off.
The music is ideal for pre-schoolers, sprightly enough to be inspiring but not irritating and Max is an endearing lead character. I can see this app becoming a very firm favourite among little kids who are curious and eager to learn.
Playroom-Lessons with Max is currently only 0.99c but it won't stay at this introductory price for long so download it now. You can do so by clicking on this link below.

Lisa and the Tot had a lot of fun with this app. Especially the voice recording part.
